Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Refer-Me IN platform ("Service"), operated by Navin Mishra (the "Operator"). By registering for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract in India. Corporate Insider and HR / TA accounts require a valid corporate email domain — public email providers (gmail, outlook, yahoo, etc.) are blocked for these account types. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for safeguarding your login.

2. How the referral marketplace works

• Job hunters place referral requests against roles posted by verified insiders or verified corporate HR teams.
• A refundable deposit may be collected at checkout (₹0 during the Cohort Alpha founder window).
• Deposits are held in escrow. If no insider accepts within 48 hours, the deposit is refunded automatically.
• On successful referral, the deposit is released to the insider net of platform fees, subject to hunter confirmation.

3. Payments & Razorpay

All online payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service in addition to these Terms. Refer-Me IN does not store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on its own servers.

4. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Bank / card settlement typically completes within 5–7 business days after the refund is initiated.

5. Acceptable use

• No fake identities, fabricated employer domains, or misrepresentation of employment.
• No harassment, spam, or bulk unsolicited outreach to insiders, HR users, or hunters.
• No scraping, automated crawling, or reverse-engineering of the Service.
• No sharing of another user's contact details, WhatsApp number, or personal data without consent.

6. Content & intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit (pitches, portfolio links, job descriptions). You grant Refer-Me IN a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to operate the Service. All platform trademarks, code, and design are the property of the Operator.

7. Anonymity & contact routing

Insider WhatsApp numbers and corporate email addresses are never exposed to hunters. All hunter-to-insider notifications are dispatched through a server-side proxy. Hunters see only an anonymised handle (e.g. Insider #102).

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, submits fraudulent referrals, files chargebacks in bad faith, or breaches the acceptable use rules. Any deposit in escrow at the time of termination will be adjudicated per the Refund Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service connects hunters with insiders and HR teams. We do not guarantee a job offer, interview, or hire. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's aggregate liability is limited to the total amount you paid to Refer-Me IN in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
